Beautiful book with in-depth information on Reiki by a genuine and wonderful teacher. I took her course and loved her and her style. While this is similar to the material in her course, it is handy in that it is bound and contains additional information. It is also all three levels in one volume. That said, you don't have to have taken her course to read the book. You'd still get lots out of it. So happy she's printed a book. If you've taken Reiki elsewhere, this can serve as a nice review. If you've never had Reiki instruction, this book will give you a good idea of what to expect. If you're taking her course, this book is a good companion.

No book on Reiki, even written by the Masters of Masters, will teach you about Reiki. One MUST seek out a teacher who resonates with you, has the proper, provable credentials and is willing to teach you. Having said that, as a Reiki and Karuna Reiki Master from way back; at a time students were told they could not write down anything, talk about anything Reiki with non-practitioners, I salute Lisa Powers for this manual. It proves all things happen in their time and it sooths my heart that the next time I teach a class I will have a manual for students. This will simplify and allow them to integrate the scared with the everyday in a real-world, everyday manner that achieves Usui’s goals, and those of so many Reiki teachers for decades now. There are several books available now, but I found these manuals to be clearcut and simplistic in exactly the way Reiki Energy IS. Thank you Lisa Powers.

This is a nicely written manual. Noticed it has a few differences from the online manual supplied with the course. It also would have been much better if all the pictures were in color. A lot of the black and white pictures are washed out and difficult to see. Some also were very small.

Lisa Powers is a wonderful Reiki Instructor. I became a certified Reiki Master through her online course on Udemy.com, and bought this book as a more portable version of the course material. A very thorough, and informative book.

Lisa Powers is a fabulous Reiki instructor and did a fantastic job putting together this manual for us. I have taken several of her classes on Udemy.com. She's one of the most involved and supportive instructors I have ever had. High quality product. She truly lives Reiki and it shows.

This book has so many typos that I find it hard to justify them as a general one off miss on the part of the writer or editor. Reads like a low dollar publication. Also this is more of a how to start your own Reiki business book than a serious study of Reiki. I also dislike that the author is using the symbols so freely in the Level 2 section as they are sacred symbols. I do not recommend this book. I wish I had my money back since I've decided not to finish the book.

As a long time practitioner, this book is an indispensable resource. I've decided to use this book as a manual in my Reiki courses, and the student feedback has been SO positive!

Bijan Vasigh is professor of Economics and Finance in the College of Business at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, Daytona Beach Florida. Dr. Vasigh received a Ph.D. degree in Economics from the State University of New York and he has written and published many articles concerning the aviation industry. The articles have been published in numerous academic journals such as the Journal of Economics and Finance, Journal of Transportation Management, National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Scientific and Technical Aerospace Reports, Transportation Quarterly, Airport Business, Journal of Business and Economics, and Journal of Travel Research. Bijan is also author of leading aviation textbooks entitled An Introduction to Air Transport Economics: From Theory to Application and The Foundations of Airline Finance: Methodology and Practice.

Reza Taleghani is currently a Managing Director with J.P. Morgan Securities in New York where he has spent the majority of his career as an investment banker to the air transport sector. He also has a deep understanding of the operational aspects of the industry, having recently served as President and CEO of Sterling Airlines, a leading Scandinavian low cost carrier. His expertise in aircraft finance arises from his experience originating and structuring financings of transportation assets in the Securitized Products Group at J.P. Morgan, as well as operating a fleet of jet aircraft at Sterling. During his time at J.P. Morgan, he has also worked on mergers and acquisitions; initial public offerings; secured, unsecured and ECA-backed financing in the syndicated finance and capital markets; leveraged finance; restructuring; and risk management for airline and lessor clients in Europe, the United States, and Latin America. Mr. Taleghani holds dual AB degrees in History and Organizational Behavior and Management from Brown University. He received his JD and MBA from Villanova University.

Darryl Jenkins has over 30 years of aviation experience. Recent work includes extensive merger and acquisition experience at United Airlines and Delta Air Lines. Previously, he was at GWU for fifteen years and served as director of the Aviation Institute and was the Director of the Graduate Certificate Program in Aviation Management from 2001 to 2003. He was visiting faculty at Embry Riddle Aeronautical University in 2004. As a consultant he has worked for the majority of the world s top fifty airlines. He is a regular commentator for the major media (ABC, NBC, CBS, Fox, CNN, MSNBC, and CNBC) on aviation issues and is regularly quoted in the print media as well. Huub van Helvoort, MSEE, Eindhoven University of Technology, is a Senior Member of the IEEE. He has worked at Philips Telecommunication Industries, AT&T, Lucent Technologies, TranSwitch Corporation, and Huawei Technologies. He is a designer and architect of second- and third-generation SDH equipment and devices. In addition, he has taught telecommunication technology to post graduate students at the University of Utrecht in the Netherlands. Among van Helvoort's major achievements is the standardization of VCAT, LCAS, and GFP. He represented the above companies in the international standards body ITU-T and the regional standards bodies ANSI OPTXS and ETSI. He is currently rapporteur of ITU-T Q10: "OAM for Transport Networks" and editor of several ITU-T recommendations.

 I will attach a silent flip-through video of the entire coloring book, as well as some photos, so you can decide for yourself if this book suits your needs.I really like the concept of coloring books which bring novels and series of novels to life for those who like to color. “The Selection Coloring Book” is a lovely example of beautiful illustrations which flesh out a series of books, in this case by Kiera Cass. It includes five of the six books in the series. The only one I could not find was “Happily Ever After”.The books are included as chapters: “The Selection”, “The Elite”, “The One”, “The Heir”, and, finally, “The Crown”. I appreciate that only a few pictures from each book could be included but was really happy to see my favorite characters and scenes represented.My only small nit with the book is the number of illustrated banner pages that are included. While I like to have a few in a coloring book of this nature, the split between character designs and banner pages is even at 20 each. My preference would have been to have at least five more character designs for a 25/15 split. I don't consider this small nit to rise to the level of removing a star from the rating, it would just have been my preference.In addition to these 40 pages which are black line drawings on white background, there are five chapter heading pages which are black background with white words and designs. I think that all of the illustrations: characters (by Sandra Suy) and lettering by Martina Flor are beautifully drawn. I will have a lot of fun coloring in this book and will re-read my books as I go along.This is what I experienced while coloring in this book and testing the paper with my coloring medium:45 Design pages including 20 character designs, 20 banner designs, and 5 chapter heading pages (plus title and intro page designs) from the series “The Selection”Printed on one side of the pagePaper is white, medium weight, somewhat smooth (but still good tooth), and perforatedGlue BindingMany designs spread past the micro-perforations; however, if you choose to remove pages, nothing integral to the design will be lost.The book opens fairly flat for coloring though I had to heavily crease (break) the spine.Alcohol-based markers bleed through this paper rapidly. If I were to use this medium, I would put a blotter page below my working page to keep seeping ink from ruining the design below. I prefer card stock but several sheets of heavyweight paper works well, too. You can also remove pages from the book before coloring. I prefer not to do so to keep the continuity of the series intact.Water-based markers, India ink pens and gel pens did not bleed through but they did leave shadows on the back of the page. As the book is printed on one side of the page, this didn't trouble me.Colored pencils worked well with this paper. While it is somewhat smooth, it still has sufficient tooth (roughness) to grip pigment well. I tested both oil and wax based pencils and liked both with this paper. I was able to get deep pigment with multiple layers of the same color. I was also able to layer multiple colors well and to easily blend colors using a pencil style blending stick.

I couldn't wait to get my hands on this coloring book! The paper and picture quality are outstanding, and the pictures are single-sided which is awesome. The 3 stars is because I received this product with yellow splotches on the pages throughout the book. I noticed this the moment I pulled it out of the Amazon packaging. Besides the odd coloring, I know I will enjoy spending my time bringing life to these pages.

Perfect for fans of the Selection Series! This coloring book is divine. There are sections for each of the five Selection novels, alternating between illustrated quotes and scenes from the novels. Beautiful illustrations, easy-to-tear pages, one-sided printing, I'm thrilled with this coloring book.

Bought for my daughter. She'd been waiting for this as she's an avid fan of the series. This pages are very detailed, so I wouldn't recommend for younger tweens. Beautiful companion to the Selection series of books (and soon to be movie)...

I liked the first 3 Selection books so I decided to purchase the coloring book. It has scenes from all 5 books in the series, and it is nicely illustrated. I was just hoping for more pictures of the dresses and of the Selected girls. There are only 3-5 pages devoted to each book and I just found it disappointing.

This Book is totally awesome it is now one of my favorite coloring books, It is very illustrative and detailed to perfection...I've never heard of the book or coloring book and came cross looking for very illustrated books, I highly recommend this book and I will buy again!

This product is ABSOLUTELY everything I wanted!!! I ordered this item as soon as I could, and it just came in the mail today. The pages included are beautiful, with a combination of word art and images. On each page, next to the binding, is perforation so the sheets cam be easily removed. The cover has a soft, matted feel. Very good quality!
